What global settings and global fields are used for
The settings panel allows you to set the few permanent global fields.- Filename: the name of the XML file that contains the database ie: data.xml.
- Index filename: the name of the file that serves as the front page for you zine ie: muffmonthly.html.
- Time Format: Zineophile uses Pythons standard time library for time formats. This is the format that will be used throughout your document for any times used. Check the python docs for more info on what means what.
- Index template: which of the templates to use for the index. Note that Zineophile will happily allow you to use a completely inappropriate template.
Below these are the entry fields for any global fields.
